Using the FE’s unique Analytics Market Intel (MI) tool, we take a look at the top 10 funds advisers were buying and selling in October.

The FE Analytics MI tool tracks what advisers using FE Analytics are researching, buying and selling.

The top most bought fund was Stewart Investors’ Asia Pacific Leaders fund (formerly of First State). The fund, like its peers from the IA Asia Pacific Ex Japan sector, has been hit by this summer’s equity market dip triggered by the Chinese economic slowdown. Still, the Asia Pacific Leaders fund has managed to shelter from the worst of the slide – down 1.34 year-to date compared to its sector’s -5.86 per cent, according to data from FE Analytics.

On the other hand, Mark Barnett’s High Income fund was the most sold fund last month. The Invesco Perpetual fund is down 0.06 per cent over the past three months, however its sector the IA UK All Companies is down 3.32 per cent over the same period, according to FE Analytics data.
