FE Technology Provides Advisers with Improved Due Diligence and Reporting on Aberdeen Standard Investment’s Popular MyFolio Range

LONDON, 6 MARCH 2018: FE, the leading provider of data, software and performance analytics to the financial services industry, announces it has worked with Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI) to develop a cutting-edge tool, which provides advisers using the firm’s MyFolio range with an online portal for due diligence and fund reporting on the 25 funds within the range. 

ASI’s original ‘Lookthrough’ tool for the MyFolio[1] fund range was launched in 2012 to enable advisers to have quick and easy access to detailed fund information that could be easily shared with their clients.

Michael Beveridge, head of UK wholesale sales at Aberdeen Standard Investments explains: “With an enhanced interactive reporting capability, this new tool, which has been developed using a combination of proprietary and custom design FE technology, provides advisers with all they need to satisfy their due diligence requirements. It also allows higher levels of adviser and client customisation, a much broader offering of fund reporting tools and easy servicing of multiple clients - a huge timesaver for advisers. The new tool FE has built is a combination of ‘off the shelf’ FE products and a bespoke build. FE’s innovative web tools range, Precision+ Digital[2] provides MyFolio’s various Fund Centres with displays customised to different users such as individual investors or advisers. There is a charting tool for users to further analyse and compare performance on a daily basis.  Users are also able to move through to client reporting directly from the Fund Centre. FE’s Precision +Documents[3] are also used to provide PDF Investment Reports and PDF Investment Bulletins.

The new client reporting aspect of the tool is a bespoke build by FE. This provides users with the ability to add client holdings values and details which can be included in personalised reports.
